Additional Information

The main activities comprise the design and development of new tactile devices by creating programmable surfaces and objects. These include the 'Visitact' force feedback system and tactile displays using SMA wires and er fluids. Applications include rehabilitation engineering, CAD and VR in conjunction with visual VR displays. The work is part of the activity of the Intelligent Mechanical Systems Research Group.
