I am currently a Hardware/Software Systems Engineer at HT Medical Systems, Inc. in Rockville, MD. I received the Bachelor's degree in 1992, the Master's degree in 1995, and the Doctor of Philosophy in 1998, all at Northwestern University in Mechanical Engineering. Supported by Northwestern's Cabell Fellowship, a NASA Graduate Student Researcher's Fellowship, and Northwestern's Nugent/Pentair teaching fellowship, my doctoral research focused on the development of dynamic simulations for haptic interface. Applications for this technology include medical training, aeronautical training, and virtual prototyping.
